Mahaffey

- McGees Mills Covered Bridge
Incorporated in 1889, Mahaffey is divided by Chest Creek and the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. The waterways provide spectacular views year-round when entering town from either the Punxsutawney or Grampian directions. Just outside of town off of US 219 is McGee’s Mills covered bridge, one of the few remaining covered bridges in Pennsylvania. In the opposite direction, also on US 219, is the Mahaffey Camp and Conference Center, operated by the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
