Schrot Farm /Clearfield Outdoor Supply
Business Hours: May through October. Please call ahead for hours of operation.
The Schrot farm offers you the opportunity to see how life was lived 100 years ago. Schrot's homemade soap derived from ancient Rome is available to buy as well as other crafts. National historic Landmark
The Schrot Homestead was constructed in 1896 and has been in the family since. Al the original buildings are still standing and remain in very good shape. We have continued the tradition of subsistence farming, growing and preserving most of our own food there. We would like to share the history and the love of the beautiful property with visitors.
