Get ready for one “Big Outdoor & Sports Weekend” in Clearfield County.  The show, held in conjunction with the Grice Gun Shop, and Jim’s Sports Center annual sales events, is the largest 3-day outdoor and sports event in North Central Pennsylvania! This event promises a great experience for outdoor enthusiasts and families.

You will receive a charcuterie box to share and two half pints of our new “Champagne Beer”   Come anytime between 6pm-10pm to enjoy this experience. I have some exciting news! Instead of virtual chicken business bingo we are going in person! Come join us at The After Dark to play chicken business bingo, purchase chances for basket raffles, and enjoy delicious food and some ice cold drinks at the bar. How’s Bingo Work? You will purchase tickets, ($2 each) and then place the tickets on whatever numbers you want to claim. Once all 100 spots are filled I will place one of my hens inside the area on the board and whatever square she “does her business” on will win $100! Why Am I Doing Bingo? This is a fun fundraiser I am hosting to raise money for my goal towards the 2022 Walk To End Alzheimer’s.  Every round of bingo will raise $100 towards my goal.

The 1st Annual Chili Bowl at the Eureka in Houtzdale! Chili Bowl 2022 is expecting to have 20+ chili contestants competing and sharing their best chili making skills to help support the PA Wounded Warrior Project. 20+ Chili contestants Awards for best chili: - Best Chili Restaurant division - Best Chili Home Cooked - Best Football Themed Display - Humanitarian Award - this goes to the participant that has collected the most funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.   Admission - $5 With admission you will be able to taste test all of the chili that is offered. You will also have the opportunity to donate to the wounded warrior project at each table if you wish. Wine, Beer, Moonshine Tasting will be available. You can also watch the first playoff game on tv during the event! Plenty of other food and drink items will be available for sale during the event as well. Come on out to the first time ever, CHOCOLATE WALK! This event is similar to the wine walk, but instead of wine, they are having chocolate. There will be many tasting locations and even a race car in Northwest Savings Bank parking lot that your kids can get photos with. Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 and $13.00 for tickets the day of the event. You can purchase your tickets at The Strawberry Tree, Bouquets by Jill, Curwensville Florist, and Ace Hardware.
