Looking for something out-of-the-ordinary to do on Fathers Day? Spend the day at the Lake, submit your favorite photo from the day to the Lake office and you may win a fun prize. Categories include camping, fishing, on the trail, boating, picnic, beach, funniest, with pet and more. Check in at the Lake Store to obtain the number to submit photo. Spend an evening supporting the CFD at the annual fireball fundraiser event! We will have live music with the Moore Brothers, small games of chance, raffles, and other cash prizes! Tickets are $20 each. This year, the event will be held at the Copper Cork event center in Clearfield. Doors open at 5 PM, music starts at 6 PM! We hope to see all of our supporters at the event. If you are interested in helping support the fundraiser, you can purchase tickets to the event, or sponsor the event in other ways. Message the CFD Facebook page or stop by the firehouse for more information.

The Winkler Gallery and Art Education will have a First Friday reception Honoring the Artist of the Month, Kathy Mohney and her beautiful watercolors on October 2, 2020.   Kathy’s son, Nate Mohney will be catering the reception from  5:30-8pm (light refreshments). The event is sponsored by William G. Bowley Insurance, Inc.   We are looking forward to seeing you next Friday! There will be a door prize given away by closing of the reception! The gallery will have masks available if needed ($2 donation, if possible).  The gallery is spacious, so there is plenty of room to social distance.    You could find beauty to take home for yourself or a friend or loved-one! The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center is located at 36 N. Brady Street, Dubois Pa. 15801 (second floor).  The Winkler Gallery is a non-profit gallery that represents the artwork of the very best artists of the area.  Because of the Covid Virus the hours of operation will be,  Friday and Saturday, 2-8 and Sunday 12-5.  More information about the gallery can be found at www.winklergallery.org

The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center (WGAEC) will hold our First Friday Event May 7, 2021 from 5:30 PM until 8 PM (The Gallery will be open to the public 2 PM to 8 PM but the First Friday Event starts at 5:30 PM) .  This Open House Event will celebrate the artwork of all High School Students within our 15th Congressional District who have entered the United States Congressional Annual Student Art Show.   The winner's artwork will be hung at the Capital with all of the winners from all the United States Congressional Districts. Mother's Day is Sunday, May 9th.  The Winkler Gallery displays art from around the region From some of the area's most talented artists and an excellent place for that perfect Mother's Day gift. The U. S. Congressional Student Art Show will be open to the public on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 and on Sunday, May 9, 2021,  12-5 (There will be a private show for the students, parents and teachers on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM). The public is welcome on Saturday, May 8th after 4 PM. The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center is located at 36 N.
