You are not going to go hungry at this event! Join us for a fun-filled evening of food and entertainment at the “Men Who Cook” event Saturday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m.. at th Expo 1 in Clearfield.
We’ve rounded up local men in our community who love to cook. The lineup includes community leaders and businessmen who will showcase their culinary creations to benefit the Stevie Livergood Jr. Memorial Christmas Eve Dinner.
The BYOB event begins at 5:00 pm with all of our men offering samples of their “specialties.” The audience votes for their favorite dishes by tipping at each location. The cook who raises the most funds wins the coveted “Golden Chef” Award and will reign as the local celebrity chef. Come out and show your support and vote for your favorite!

Sample menu: A sample menu consists of Sheriff’s Churner’s Smokin’ Beef Brisket, Lobster Bacon Mac n’ Cheese, Italian Steak Sandwiches, Smoked Pork Tacos with Smoked Crema and Pineapple Salsa, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Primitive Turkey, Italian Meatballs, Corned Beef with Sauerkraut, Cheesy Bacon Mashed Potatoes, “Lasagna’s Twisted Sister,” French Onion Potatoes Mac n’ Cheese bites and an array of soups, award-winning desserts and more. Under the direction of Brittany Bergman, The Imagine Music Academy LLC (IMA) Youth Symphony Orchestra is presenting its premiere concert on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
Wanting to provide music opportunities for high school aged students during COVID-19, local student Evan Forcey began rehearsing with a group of students in the Fall of 2020. His initiative and hard work led to the creation of the IMA Youth Symphony Orchestra of which he is the assistant director.
Treasure Lake POA and Treasure Lake Church partner again for Fall Festival. Sunday, September 26th from 4-7 pm at Treasure Lake Church we will be coming together for a time of fall festivities. We will have horse rides, a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, a patriotic program, pumpkin painting, food, games and live music. Everything is FREE, so please join us for this unforgettable experience.
