Every year the park hosts the Clearfield County Fair which is one of the top five attended fairs in the state. The entertainment at the fair is geared for all ages. During fair week enjoy harness racing Sunday through Wednesday held at the grandstand. These dinners are to be picked up at the Roland Welker Live Festival at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 17 between the hours of Noon to 2 p.m. Dinners are $10.00 -Half Chicken, Baked Beans, Tea Roll, Butter and Fried Pie. Vespers Service During the Clearfield County Fair  This community worship gathering is open to all and offers a time of spiritual reflection, music, and unity among area churches and residents.   As part of the service, a community choir is being assembled to sing the gospel favorite “Just a Little Talk with Jesus.” Singers of all ages are warmly invited to participate. Rehearsal will be held Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 PM, also at Tri County Church, under the direction of Mayor Mason Strouse.   An offering will be collected during the service to benefit the Ministerium Tangible Aid Fund, which provides emergency support to individuals and families in need throughout the Clearfield area.   Following the Vesper Service, everyone is encouraged to continue the evening by attending the Clearfield County Fair—an opportunity to enjoy fellowship, food, fun, and the vibrant traditions of our local community. Sunday, July 13th 4 PM  Tri County Church - Right outside the fairground entrance

Wanna Plunge? Some folks just don't have good sense! But they do have good hearts. Watch fearless contenders take the plunge. The Polar bear swim is one of the highlights at Winterfest. The swimming hole is cut through the ice at 11:00am so the plungers can feel the full impact! The plunge starts at 4:00pm. All plungers get a Polar Bear T-Shirt. Pick up a pledge sheet and get your friends and family to sponsor you. A minimum of $25 in donations is required to participate for adults and ($20 or more for children 12 years - 21 years). Swimmers raising $100 receive a Polar Bear Beach towel and those raising $250 or more will recieve a heavywieght Polar Bear Sweatshirt. The order of the swimmers is determined by most money raised. All proceeds help to provide Y memberships for kids.
