Join us Tuesday, July 25th from 5:30-8:30 at the Clearfield Fire Dept, Cherry St. to celebrate Clearfield's National Night Out. National Night Out is an annual campaign to build camaraderie among residents and our police community to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. You will be able to explore public safety apparatus, enjoy safety demonstrations, visits from emergency personnel, and so much more! Admission is free to the public.

Tuesday August 6, 2024 National Night Out  - 5:30 PM  Drive-In Movie - 8:30 PM  Free admission, free hot dogs, and popcorn.  National Night Out will be held from 5:30-8 at the Clearfield Fire Department on Cherry St and will continue with a “drive-in” movie in Upper Witmer Park at 8:30pm. Historic Crown Crest Cemetery presents a celebration for our veterans on National Wreaths Across America Day Opening prayer by Clearfield VFW Chaplin BJ McMahon  Star Spangled Banner by Heather Olsen  Speakers: Commissioner Tim WInters and Boro Manager Julie Brooks  Bag Pipes by Herb Wilson  Presentation of Colors  Taps by Mark Wurster  Attendees that can stay to distribute wreaths to veterans graves are welcome and appreciated. 

If you are not a veteran - no worries you can still attend! This event is about building community and connection. Enjoy a peaceful morning of coffee and connection, followed by gentle, empowering yoga led by Betsy McGarry from Yogi’s Studio. Then, lace up your boots for an invigorating hike in the great outdoors.

We are going to have our New Years Eve Party earlier to accommodate the younger kids and Families that don't want to stay up late or have other plans! The next few weeks promise to be amazing at Lower Witmer Park in Clearfield. Various local musicians will be performing under the gazebo every Friday night from 7 til 9. Donations will be collected for Freedom House - a women's residential program based in Osceola Mills. Invite your friends, bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy our beautiful downtown park and river while listening to local, live music with your Corner Concert community. The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. (CAST) will host a special performance by the Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus on Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m.   Tickets are reasonably priced at $12 for adult and $10 for students.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.ClearfieldArts.org or at the box office 30 minutes prior to the performance.  Tickets can also be purchased at the CAST office Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 and Thursdays 4:30-5:30. The Nittany Knights are Men Who Sing!  Those attending this event will hear popular songs from several different decades, a few ballads and show tunes, plus a couple of barbershop classics–finishing with some holiday favorites in the unique four-part barbershop style. The Nittany Knights, based in State College, are the local chapter of the international Barbershop Harmony Society. They rehearse most Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at the South Hills School of Business and Technology in State College, and welcome visitors. During this event, there will be regular Bingo games, plus “special” pattern games. Cards will include three games at $2 per card. Additional bingo supplies will be available for sale. The CRC will accept cash or check as payment. Refreshments will be available, and the bar at Moena will be open. While you are in Downtown Clearfield for the event, CRC encourages you to shop and dine at the local establishments in.
