The property is a 5/8 mile asphalt oval located on 85 acres which hosted nearly 50 years of exciting wheel to wheel racing. UMI plans to convert this property into a multi-use facility with an emphasis on UMI product testing as well as hosting auto-x and road racing style events. The asphalt oval configuration will be preserved as-is which will allow testing by professional oval teams and oval track races. UMI Motorsports Park will also be available for track rental to many automotive organizations and will be a great location for vehicle testing, race teams, driver training, tire testing and many other automotive uses. Short term plans to the new UMI Motorsports Park include cosmetic improvements, signage upgrade and paving work in the infield to enable product testing and short course road racing/auto-x racing events. Plans are already being made for three events in 2018, a July Super Cup Stock Car Race, a Rusty Wallace Racing Experience ride & drive program and the annual UMI Cruise In and Autocross event. The grandstand seating and extremely fan friendly venue will add an exciting twist and make this one of the most unique spectator friendly autocross events in the nation. UMI's Muscle on the Mountain will host the best muscle cars and fastest muscle car drivers in a no hold barred autocross showdown. 120 of the fastest pro-touring Muscle Cars will battle for two days, culminating in an autocross showdown. 

Welcome to KOTM 2.0! On August 20-22, 2020 UMI Motorsports Park will once again host the top autocross and Pro-Touring cars and drivers in the nation. We will run 100+ cars for two days on two separate courses with the goal of crowning a King of the Mountain. The top-32 drivers (16 vintage cars and 16 modern cars) will race under the lights in two separate ladders until the grand finale. One vintage muscle car will square off against its modern adversary and the winner will walk away with the big $10k check. Can Jeremy Swenson repeat in the modern rocket? Will a vintage muscle car become King? Will old age and treachery outduel youth and enthusiasm? Find out Saturday night August 22nd! Qualifying for the 32 car shootout will take place on Friday and Saturday with free admission to the hill and stands. On Saturday evening the gates open at 5pm in preparation for the big shootout. Concessions will be available on site and Bangshift Chad Reynolds will once again emcee this exciting event.

Help us celebrate Uncle D’s 5th Anniversary with Matt Otis Solo Acoustic Friday August 2nd! We will have pizzas from 1:00PM-8:00PM, wine slushies, beer, and Matt will be performing from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
