Mumble (Elijah Wood), a young emperor penguin, lives in Antarctica. Like others of his kind, he needs to be able to sing to attract a mate, but he has a terrible voice. HIS YEARS EVENT WILL BE HELD AT THE YMCA IN BIGLER. Woodland Park volunteers have teamed up with the Bigler YMCA to make our Halloween event even better. Venders - we apologize for the inconvenience. The vendor portion of this event has been canceled due to lack of interest. Events will include: * Trunk or Treat will be held from 4p-6p in the ball field. * A cartoon themed costume contest open to all children 17 and younger. Registration will be held from 6p - 7p in the gym * bobbing for apples * kid games * pumpkin decorating contest (decorate your pumpkins at home and bring it with you to the party) * concession stand will be open during this event for your convenience. * prices will be awarded for the costume contest, and the decorated pumpkin contest * Anyone interested in participating in the Trunk or Treat event will need to call the Bigler YMCA, and speak directly to Josh.

The next few weeks promise to be amazing at Lower Witmer Park in Clearfield. Various local musicians will be performing under the gazebo every Friday night from 7 til 9. Donations will be collected for Freedom House - a women's residential program based in Osceola Mills. Location - pavilion and area located by the big play ground/volleyball courts. Pumpkin Drive - Help us reach our goal of 500 pumpkins to light up the park lawn.
