Get ready for the Upstage Music Fest. on Thu, Aug 8th at the Expo1 Building located at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds.  This is a 3 day event. Doors open at 4:00pm. Corner Concert Series The next few weeks promise to be amazing at Lower Witmer Park in Clearfield. Various local musicians will be performing under the gazebo every Friday night from 7 til 9. Performers include The Voorhees Blues Band on 6/20 The final 2025 schedule is as follows: May 30 - Joe Quick June 6 - Riverfront Festival June 13 - Twin Reverb June 20 - Vorhees Blues Band June 27 - Jeff, Zeb & Zach July 4 - Billy Davis July 11 - 3ofM on the grove stage at the fair! July 18 - Innocent Sin July 25 - RHODES Aug 1 - Hardtack Aug 8 - Not Ashamed Aug 15 - Over The Influence Aug 22 - Rhythm Rats Aug 29 - Nis-n-Nat Sept 5 - Second Chance Shows are cancelled for rain. Donations are collected during the shows and split between the performers and local charity. Shows start at 7pm every Friday night. Sponsors are encouraged to reach out to Corner Concert Series. Full season sponsor = $1000, Nightly sponsor $150

Celebrate the start of the Winter season with us at our annual Winter Fest on Saturday November 15th! Santa Claus will be here to take pictures with all of the kiddos from 11am-1pm! Stirred Cups Coffee Truck & Crust and Crumble Baked Goods will be here from 11am-2pm! Burger Daddy Food Truck will be set up from 11am-5pm, or sold out! We will also have some jolly holiday-themed trivia for everyone as well as some super-cool deals on our Christmas merchandise PLUS the long-awaited return of our famous Cranberry Wintry Mule! Does your company or organization have a unique truck or vehicle that you'd like to display at Touch A Truck? The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce, Glenn O. Hawbaker, DuBois Walmart, DuBois Kiwanis Club, and WPAL are holding this exciting event on Saturday, September 14th at the DuBois Walmart from 11:00am to 2:00pm. The event is to display a wide variety of heavy equipment, trucks, emergency vehicles, and fun “stuff’” for kids to climb on, honk horns, and explore. This is a FREE EVENT for the entire family.  Touch-A-Truck is Back!  Get ready for an afternoon of big wheels, flashing lights, and nonstop fun! The Greater DuBois Chamber’s Touch-A-Truck event rolls into town on Saturday, September 13 from 11 AM to 2 PM at the DuBois Walmart Parking Lot (20 Industrial Drive, DuBois, PA).  Perfect for children ages 2–12, all ages welcome, this hands-on event gives kids the chance to explore real fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, dump trucks, rescue vehicles, monster trucks, and so much more!  Admission: Please bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to support a local food pantry.  Waivers are required for entry and must be signed at the gate.  Sponsored by the Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce, Glenn O. Hawbaker, DuBois Kiwanis, WPAL, and DuBois Walmart.  Want to Bring a Vehicle? Hey kids! Are you bored and having a hard time convincing your parents that anytime is a good time for a get-a-way? Have no fear! It will be easy to convince them to bring you to Clearfield County, because there are plenty of FREE things to do together here. Here is a list for your next family outing: Clearfield Float down the West Branch of the Susquehanna River on a tube, raft, canoe or kayak or take a stroll along the river walk located between Market St. and Nichols St. Bridges. Then, enjoy a picnic lunch at Lower Witmer Park and play on the playground located in Upper Witmer Park. Mountain bike the Clearfield-to-Grampian Rail Trail. The 11-mile cinder trail is mostly flat and follows the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. The trailhead is located off of Old Town Rd., Clearfield, PA 16830. Visit Liddle Gallery and view artwork and crafts made by Clearfield County artisans. Imagine what it would be like if you were in one of the paintings. Practice your skateboarding skills at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds skate park near Mill Road or challenge your friend to a tennis match at the courts inside the grandstand oval. Picnic at Irvin Park and play basketball or tennis on the free courts. Bring a fishing rod and try your luck along the banks of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Cruise the indoor streets of DuBois Harley Davidson, located at 101 W. DuBois Ave., DuBois, PA 15801, then stop by nearby City Park along Parkway Drive. Play a pickup game on the courts or run, walk or bike the Beaver Meadow Walkway. Take in a baseball game at the beautiful Showers Field Complex. The field is home to the DuBois Area High School and Penn State-DuBois baseball teams. Located just off of Maple Ave., DuBois, PA 15801. Houtzdale Ride a horse on the Houtzdale Rails to Trails. Or walk, hike or bike the trail and stop near Country Convenience to read about the infamous 1893 Walter L. Main circus train wreck. Penfield Take part in free educational programs and learn about area wildlife at Parker Dam State Park. Build a sandcastle on the beach at Parker Lake, go birdwatching or stop by the park office to pick up a passport book for the Clearfield County Geo Trail. Located at 28 Fairview Rd., Penfield, PA 15849. Go back in time exploring the Civilian Conservation Corps camp at S.B. Elliott State Park, located along Old Route 153, Penfield, PA 15849. Then, visit nearby Shagger’s Inn, a beautiful manmade waterfowl sanctuary near the park. Quehanna Spend a day at Quehanna Wild Area, the state’s largest wildlife area. Bring your binoculars to Hoover Farm wildlife viewing area and listen for the majestic bugle of bull elk. Take in the eye-popping beauty of the largest stand of white birch in the Eastern U.S. and visit the monument at Marion Brooks Natural Area. Then, take a walk on Quehanna Trail and watch for wildlife. Quehanna Wild Area is located along Quehanna Highway in Cameron, Clearfield and Elk counties.
